Testing Divi Essential With Divi 5

Image
Divi 5 has been in Public Alpha since late last year. It is incredible how much progress we’ve made over that time. However, to gauge its progress, you need to look at how leading third-party extensions are adapting to Divi 5’s new architecture. We did a full overview of Divi Essentials not too long ago, but that was well before any D5 updates on their part.  Let’s check in on Divi Essential again and look at its recent D5 compatibility updates! Divi Essential’s D5 Progress Update Divi Essential , a popular module and extension pack, is actively pivoting to Divi 5! Its latest beta version is now out and is compatible with Divi 5 . Divi Essentials users can contact their support team to get access to the Beta if they want to try it. Divi Essential’s developers have built an innovative dual-compatibility, supporting Divi 4 and Divi 5. Migration is currently initiated only when pages are saved after initial attempts, not directly from the migrator interface. This cautious appro...

Testing Accessibility Sidebar With Divi 5

Image
Some people need larger text, higher contrast, or motion turned off to use a website comfortably. Accessibility Sidebar gives your visitors those options, all built to work seamlessly with Divi 5 . Let’s explore what it does, how it works, and why it matters before the June 28 deadline. The Accessibility Sidebar For Divi 5 Your visitor lands on your Divi site and immediately squints at the screen. Your carefully chosen 16px font looks perfect on your monitor, but it needs something bigger to read comfortably. Instead of zooming their entire browser and breaking your layout, they spot a small accessibility icon. One click opens a sidebar with real controls. They bump the text up to 20px. The change happens instantly, affecting every page they visit. This exact scenario can be achieved by using Accessibility Sidebar by Divi-Modules, which is currently available at 50% discount until June 28 on our Marketplace (check the page for up-to-date pricing). Works With Divi 5’s New Archit...

Testing Accessibility Attributes With Divi 5

Image
Accessibility Attributes is now fully compatible with Divi 5 , giving you a no-code way to add ARIA roles, labels, and other screen reader helpers right inside the builder. If you’re working with Divi 5, it’s the easiest way to build accessibility into your site without changing your workflow or design. With the European Accessibility Act taking effect on June 28 and Google increasingly favoring accessibility best practices, now is the time to get ahead. Here’s how Accessibility Attributes works and how it helps your site meet modern accessibility standards! Accessibility Attributes For Divi 5 Accessibility Attributes is a Divi Plugin that lets you add ARIA roles, labels, and other accessibility helpers to your web pages directly from the Divi Builder without writing any code. ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes help you add meaning to elements that don’t provide enough context on their own, especially when building custom layouts in Divi 5. For example, if y...

You can do so many amazing things with this system, and I can’t wait to show you how it works, so let’s jump in.
